As the saying goes; "A Stitch in Time saves Nine".
A Repair or Alteration will render an item useful for a long time to come, check out the 'Repairs & Alterations' page.
It often works out much more cost effective to repair a garment or other item then having to replace it.
By repairing an item you are reducing waste which is better for our environment.
Altering or re-shaping a garment, so that it fits you well is a worthwhile investment - you look good and feel comfortable in it.
Whether it gives you confidence at that special do or simply means you get a lot of wear out of your trousers / skirt.

2) Sewing Lessons
In the current climate many of are being reminded of the value of
'Make & Mend'
Fixing your own hems, zips, rustling up your own cushions etc are all valuable skills. If you'd like to brush up your sewing skills, gain confidence using a sewing machine or help with a sewing project.
